We need to pick our tickets up at guest relations, but we are staying at the grand so we can get in an hour earlier. Any idea what time they open?

Do you mean the ticket booth? When MM was only at DL it was 30 minutes before park open on non-EE days and at the start of MM on those days. I don't know if it's now 30 minutes with EE happening every day, but there will likely be a line in the morning. Can you pick up your tickets the night before?

ask at the hotel front desk...they can usually issue the tickets...

WDW Guest Relations Booths = DLR Ticket Booths

As others have said, unless you're picking up APs with a voucher, the GCH front desk should be able to issue them.

Guest Relations is located to the left of the DCA turnstiles. They open 30 mins before EE.
