Any Hotels in N Fort Myers?

HI ALL!
Visiting North Fort Myers in April on the way to WDW.
Any suggestions of a Resort or Hotel in N Fort Myers and East Cape Coral or Southern Punda Gorda.

Hmmmm... let's see, used to live in Fort Myers. The best choices would be there, in the actual city of Fort Myers, but there are a few in N. Fort Myers, too. Actually, I'd head up the road to Punta Gorda in Charlotte county. There are a few hotels right off of 75 at the exit (the first one) for Punta Gorda. There is a hotel in the town of Punta Gorda, right on Charlotte Harbor if you wish to travel just a bit off 75 (that would be the second exit for Punta Gorda).

I live in Cape Coral & as far as a hotel in East Cape Coral....there aren't any.... unless you go to the South East section of Cape Coral. There are a few hotels in N Ft Myers on 41 just over the bridge heading north. I have never stayed in any of them... From the outside they don't look too bad.... but I think I would have to agree with DVC~OKW~96 & try for something in Punta Gorda

There is a nice Best Western in North Fort Myers on RT 41 right over the bridge from downtown. It has been recently renovated. I stayed there in November during the boat show.

I didn't know you stayed there for the boat show..... Mark stayed there 12 years ago before we moved down & liked it then, but I didn't want to give advice on a stay 12 yrs ago!!!
