We are going to MK on 3/2 with my parents and our DD4 and DS11mos, and my Mom just said yesterday that she would be willing to pay for a lunch or dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. But we've heard it's really hard to make reservations, maybe it's too late? If we are able to do so, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a difference between the lunch and the dinner, in terms of the experience and meeting characters, especially Cinderella or other princesses?

Check out the Restaurant board!! I believe there is a thread about eating at the Royal Table.

In general, this is the most difficult meal to get ADRs for..especially at breakfast. If you can be flexible and do another meal, you may have more luck.

As for the differences, I believe that breakfast and lunch are basically the same with the princess interaction. Cinderella is in the lobby and other princesses circulate during the meal. The dinner meal is not a princess meal.

One big thing in your favor is that, beginning Feb. 1, there was a significant price increase for all meals. You now get pics included. It also went from a regular TS to a signature meal, meaning that it took 2 credits to use it for the dining plan. Many people have decided it is no longer worth it because of the recent changes. I've been advised that I should not anticipate a problem getting ressies. Of course, I'm planning much further out than you are.

It certainly can't hurt to call. If you haven't done so already, please don't tell your dd until after you do get reservations. There is also a princess meal in Norway (Epcot), and a Cinderella meal at 1900 Park Fare (GF).

Good luck....and have a magical trip!!! princess:

I've never had a problem getting dinner ADRs for CRT. It is the character breakfast that is a problem.

We are taking DD (9yrs) to both the Cinderella and norway breakfast in late June. When I made reservations they told me that breakfast was the hardest meal to get, but that they often get cancelations. I'd call every morning if you want breakfast. I have also heard that if you can get the last seating at night the characters spend more time with you because they are not trying to rush you out for the next seating, also if you go to Cinderellas castle you can see the firworks from there if you have the last seating.
Good Luck

We were there in January and our Spirit of Aloha show was cancelled due to the cold weather. so we needed another plan. I went to the desk and got a reservation for the next night. You never know! Keep trying and don't give up! There is a lot of information on the restaurant board, too.

I just {about 3 hours ago}cancelled a lunch ressie for 3-2 maybe youll get lucky!!!
