Hi,

Going to the Hoop Dee doo in 98 days. :teeth:

Any recent reviews?

Thanks guys.

I was the the 5p.m. show on January 12th and we had a great time. We had never been and I didn't know what to expect but we had an amazing time there. The food is good, you get salad and bread before the show starts and all-you-can-eat ribs, fried chicken, beans and corn in the cob while the show is going on. We are from Texas and we thought it was all pretty darn good! For dessert you get strawberry shortcake which was also really good. The entertainment is funny, a little corny sometimes but funny. You definately have to go in there with the right attitude. We had an amazing table, front and center so the actors interacted with us a lot during the show but they also did their best to interact with everyone in there. If you are celebrating something, don't be shy and let them know when they ask, they are very good and helping you celebrate your special day. There's singing, dancing, a little cheesy romantic moment (girl and guy singing to each other in the middle of the floor) and a lot of jokes. We laughed our heads off, hope you do too!

We went August 2004 with 12 people and August 2001 with 4. Best show at Disney. We laughed so much. DS told them it was our ann. so they made us get up and dance. DD told them we did the rehitching at GG so one of the dancers announced to everyone that we were just married by Mickey Mouse. You'll love it. :cool1: :Pinkbounc :lmao: :rotfl2:

I've been several times and it really is great, the food is good and the show is very funny.
My husband went for the first time this past December and I was worried he would not like the show, he just does not have that type of humor, but he really enjoyed it. We were right up front and the guys would flirt with me and the woman with him. We had a great time.

We've been to this show twice. The food is pretty mediocre, as it's basically just a western campground type of meal. But we really enjoyed the show both times. Don't get me wrong, the jokes are corny and it's all pretty hokey, but that's the beauty of it. We love this show, and will probably go back next time we're at WDW.

good food and a super time! Not to be missed!

The jokes are corny and the food is good, and we go everytime we are down in WDW.

The jokes havent changed in 20 yrs and I wouldnt miss it.

My DH and I are going to fit this in on our trip this year. We always hear good things, but have not done it. My question is the food. My DS who is 9 is not into chicken and ribs (hey I know he is strange), do they have hotdogs? Can you request a hotdog? Thanks.

We were at HDDR on Jan. 16th and had a great time as usual. If with me playing the part of Davy's angel. I always wanted to wear a pink tu-tu and angel wings. At least my family got a big laugh out of it.

We are doing it for the first time very soon! It sounds like great, innocent family fun!!! We need a little more of that these days! Can't wait!

I saw them serve macarroni and cheese to some kids but not hotdogs. You might want to call and ask.

I'm not sure about the hot dog, but my dd was able to get some mac and cheese when we were there..
She liked the show so much (she was almost 10 at the time) that she asked if she could celebrate her 13th birthday there!!! So, she is....on Oct 25 that's where we'll be. Two moms with their dd's, mine who turns 13 that day and the other dd who turns 13 two days later.
The food is 'okay' not great. You can get a lot to drink, which can be a plus. The show is sooo corny but we love it. It's fun and clean. I don't think I would do it every time we go but every year or so I would go.
