Any Halloween activities on board?

Am putting together a quick 3 day cruise plan with multiple family group to celebrate my birthday and one of the dates available is 10/30 to 11/2. That would mean we would be docked in Naussa on Halloween. We are short on time and budget so probably will just stay onboard and socialize with each other and do the cruise provided stuff. But the kids are concerned about opportunity to wear their costumes (which are of course appropriately disney) and get treats.

Has anyone been onboard for a Halloween and can tell what goes on?

Thanks.

I would also like to know what they do for Halloween. We haven't booked yet, but are planning on doing the 7 day Eastern Caribbean Oct. 30 - Nov. 6, 2004.

I'm part of Tiggerish's "multiple family group" :D, and so I'm bumping this one up to see if any of you can give us any ideas. Just to give you an idea -- the kids range from 4 to 13.

Thanks!

My sister and her family were on board the Magic last year for halloween. They were a bit disappointed with the activities offered. :( The kids did get to dress up and trick or treat in the main lobby. :jester: But she said the lines were crazy and the over all atmosphere was chaos. The kids didn't seem to mind, but it made the adults a bit crazy. They may do things differently on the Wonder though...

Look for a specific thread on your cruise. I don't remember if it was your trip or the 7 day, but I do recall people talking about organizing a cabin to cabin trick or treat. If I find the thread, I'll edit my post.

Halloween is my mostest favoritest holiday ever! I will be cruising Nov.1 thru 8 and was wondering will they still be celebrating halloween then or will it be all over :( ?

CRenze,
I cruised that week a couple of years ago and it was all over. Although they did have a few of the Halloween pins left.:D

Hi, how many different families are going on the cruise then? We are already booked on the same cruise (3 day Wonder Oct 30-Nov 2) we are first time DCL cruisers, have 2 cabins, 2 kids DD11, DS8, and my MIL is coming. We are probably going to go to Atlantis during the day, because my husband really wants to check it out....we would be willing to have an organized Halloween party that evening upon our return, (not sure what time yet, haven't booked any Atlantis tours) I've heard of people getting candy before they leave Orlando and than having their own organized private parties on board! Which deck are you thinking of booking? We will be on the 7th.. Kelly Powell ; )

We'll be on 6th Deck (6610). I'm planning on bringing a large bag of mix just in case. Originally I was planning a family theme of costumes for all of us....but I'm thinking of backing off on DH and I and just have GS & GD wear theirs. (DH finally agreed to be Mr Smee after kicking and screaming about it!!)

I think we need to call Disney a little closer to the cruise and see what (if anything) they have planned. Personally...I'd still rather see activities done on Thurs night so as to not interfer with Nassau (just MHO).

Too much to do SOOOOO little time!!

Our group will be very mixed -

Me and niece, age 13 - in a "yet to be assigned" cat. 11

My little sister & husband and another niece, age 6 - in a "yet to be assigned" cat. 11

My baby brother & wife and my nephew, age 4 - in a "yet to be assigned" cat. 11 [They are leaving the baby ( 3 weeks old) at home despite the fact she already has a Minnie Mouse costume.]

My big sister and my niece, age 22 - in a "yet to be assigned" cat. 11

My Mom & Dad (in their early 70's) who will be staying in style on deck 7 in their veranda room.

I was and am planning to bring treats from home so the kids can at least trick or treat between cabins. The travel agent says their will be Halloween activities on the boat and opportunity for then to wear costumes.
