Are there any activities for kids at any of the resorts on Halloween night if we decided not to do MNSSHP? We have a child in a wheelchair and think it might be a bit chaotic that evening at MK....

Pop Century is going to have a Halloween Maze on the Generation Gap Bridge. I'm not sure how exciting it will be, but it's free. The aisle ways are supposed to be 5 feet wide, so it should be wide enough for a wheelchair.

Most resorts have some sort of activities on Halloween in the hotel lobby, but it changes from resort to resort. When I worked at the All-Stars, they had some coloring activities and candy decorating. Resorts also have a pumpking carving judging contest - each department carves a pumpkin and the guests vote on the most creative, funniest, scariest, etc...

Downtown Disney is also having Trick or Treating, but I'm not sure on which days. I'm sure someone on this board can post more information about this. DD is free, so if you feel it is too crowded, you can just leave without loosing the $30/ticket.

We will be there with friends on 10/31 also. DH, my DD's (all teens) and friends DH and 5 y/o DD are headed to MNSSHP...my friend and I and her 2 sons (both are special needs children) will do something else (we decided the MNSSHP might be too much for the boys)....so far we have come up with DTD (trick or treating at amny locations, but also likely to be quite crowded from previous reports), Boardwalk has some trick or treating, and special kid friendly craft activities, special street performers etc (and not so crowded if you go before 8PM or so). DVC member services also told us that all of the DVC resorts will have trick or treating and special kids activities (they suggested OKW and Saratoga Springs were likely to be the least crowded....they did not know exactly what activities were planned)....since we are checking into OKW that day, I think we will start there and if the boys are up for more we may try riding the boat to Saratoga Springs and maybe even on to DTD....nice thing about that is when they have had enough we can go back to the room....and not feel like we "wasted" an expensive ticket.
