I am wondering if anyone has gymbucks they are not using, or if there is a coupon code for Gymboree out there? i am in total desperation for some discounts. thanks!!!
I asked the very same thing a while back and had a whole thread turn into some nightmare with people searching my posts and then judging me on whether I was truly worthy(?), needy enough(?) or whatever odd assorted things people felt the need to talk about.
I truly understand when you are trying to save a buck. All of us do what we can to pinch pennies and just live the best life we can for us and our kids.
So back to your original question... there are 20% off coupons floating around out there in I believe Parents magazine and a couple of others. You can try the library or your Dr's office for spares (I found them at BOTH places!) Oh, also where I get my haircut had some mags with coupons in them.
I think there are further markdowns starting tomorrow at Gymboree.
The stand here on the DIS is that the Gymbucks are nothing more than high-value coupons. You want to give one to someone here? Great. You want to ask for one? Fine. You want to sell or buy them here? Forget it! As long as no money is passing between members and no one is making a profit from it there should be no problem.
We're not going to have that argument all over again on this thread or any other thread. Let's leave it at that and move on...
If you google the gymboree 20% off coupon you will find MANY Magazines that are listed that have it. SO for the price of a magazine you can have the coupon.
depending on the sizes you are wanting to buy, I have a 20% coupon for the baby sizes that i could pass along to someone.

Do you physically take the coupons out of the magazines in the doctor's office, dentist, library, ect? I've always seen them and wished I could - especially the occassional BABW - but, as it wasn't my magazine and I knew many others would also be reading it later, so I never have. It just struck me as poor etiquette.
I've never known anyone who took them, though heaven knows we've all talked about it at my MOMS Club meetings around gymbo sale times. Perhaps I've been wrong all along. Is it really okay to help yourself when you see something in a magazine at the library or in the doctor's waiting room?
