Any guests arriving November 1 to 30 receive FP+ testing invites?

Disney Jr was available for me. But just an FYI, I actually scheduled it but changed my mind as others on DIS said the seating was actually TOO close to the stage and their kids could not see the characters and got no gold doubloons tossed to them.

Thanks for the info about the seating. I know it will be fine, we went last December and had no trouble getting good seats. I just think it is odd that not everything is available.

I don't see POP listed for the MB rollout, but I have a trip scheduled in November and am receiving bands.

So, I called today about my existing tickets that I've owned since 2006. I have 6 days remaining on the tickets and I planned to go to WDW during Thanksgiving week. My tickets are the old style magnetic credit card type tickets. I called the ticket rep today and got bounced around to several people before I got to one person who HIGHLY encouraged me to not have these tickets transferred to MDE. I told him I was concerned about not being able to enjoy the parks if everyone was obtaining their fastpasses through FP+. He then, asked me to read a bunch of numbers off my credit card tickets and he could see how many days are left. But he wouldn't give me any code or anything to transfer them to MDE. He said that right now the system is in testing phase and he does not recommend it. I'm a little concerned that there won't be any fastpasses left. He told me that I could convert the day I arrive at the resort. Then, I could obtain my fast passes pluses then. Are there are going to be any "good" times left? Would I be better off with the regular fast passes? What does everyone think? I'm staying on site. Funny, how in the beginning I was totally against fast pass Plus and now I'm bummed I don't get to participate in the program.

Same here, checking into POP Nov 1-3 for a quick weekend F&W Festival trip and I was able to customize and order my MB's this morning!

October visitors are reporting they are still able to get good FP+ the day before and day of. Not sure how that will work for busy Thanksgiving week though. Nov is still considered a 'testing' month, so KTTW cards should still be available for regular FP too.

For those that do not follow Touring Plan's tweets, this just came out:

"Beginning today MyMagic+ is officially rolling out in waves across Walt Disney World Resorts. All guests checking in to resorts on or after the dates listed below will receive MagicBands and have access to the FASTPASS+ System. Every Monday for the next 4 weeks new resorts will be added. Then when Grand Floridian Villas open on October 23, 2013 all resorts will be fully online with the program. The program will still be considered “testing” for now, think of it as a sort of “soft opening.” The official start date for MyMagic+ is December 1, 2013.

For arrivals on or after:

September 30, 2013: Bay Lake Tower, Kidani Village, Port Orleans French Quarter, Grand Floridian, and All Star Movies.

October 7, 2013: All Star Sports, Boardwalk Inn, Boardwalk Villas, and Caribbean Beach Resort.

October 14, 2013: All Star Music, Coronado Springs, Old Key West, Wilderness Lodge, and Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

October 21, 2013: Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and Saratoga Springs.

October 23, 2013: Grand Floridan Villas."

The DISboard has known this for a month now! :rotfl2: Someone should tweet this to the CM's. :lmao:

We will be able to experience the difference between testing and official roll out of my magic +
I wonder if We will still have access to FP- in dec..

You also don't see Yacht Club, Beach Club, AoA, and several others because they have been part of the program for awhile now. :)

I purchased a ticket like that (i.e. no rfid but credit card looking..) I linked it to my account using the barcode scanning option in the MDE app on my phone. My previous attempts to type in the numbers into the website failed but the barcode scanner worked...

It now shows up under my reservations section, under the tickets and is assigned correctly to my son.

It does not show up in the Magic Bands / Cards section because i believe only RFID tickets are shown there...

In any case, I am able to reserve FP+ for my whole family, including my son who has this "different" ticket. The rest of my family were provided the RFID tickets which I was able to enter the ticket numbers into the site without any issues.

Hope that helps...

I wonder if some people are having trouble with tickets, fp+'s and MB disappearing or changing or moving around because of the fact that the app's do not show the exact same information as the website. Does anyone have these problems using only the website and not an app?

When we were at WDW in February I used the app's for the iPhone and for the iPad. Not only did different information show up, but half of our ADR's ended up in our married daughter's MDE account even though I booked them before the MDE website even rolled out. Once our February trip was over, I deleted the apps to see if I could prevent the problems for our Nov-Dec trip. It took months before I could delete our daughter and her family, too. I didn't want our MDE account to even know there were other family members around to give my ADR's to. I just left my DH's account in place. So far, everything on our account has been fine. I'm going to wait to add the app's until we get closer to the trip. But before then, I'm playing it safe and staying away from the app's until they get more of the glitches fixed.

I guess I'll know more about how well it works when I can start making fp+'s tomorrow. :)

We are only using the website and these are exactly the problems we are having. I figured after all the issues we've had with this the last thing we need is to add an app into the picture. I feel like we would just be borrowing even more trouble. :scared1:

Could someone tell me if I have a problem? I have 2 reservations. One is a room only at ASMo on 11/18. Then we are moving to SSR for 6 nights by renting points with 5 day tickets (that have been linked to the correct people on MDE) and the dining plan. MDE tells me that I have 2 sets of Magic Bands waiting for me to customize. I booked ASMo online and my family listed on the reservation is correct. I customized the bands and I have booked my FP+. The SSR reservation is completely screwed up. My father in law is connected when it should be my husband. My DS3 is saying "not available" and my DS6 is listed but the name under the magic band is my DS3's name. So...do I need to call IT and get that reservation corrected or does it not even matter because I was able to get a correct set of Magic Bands through my ASMo reservation? So sorry for the long post but appreciate the help.

I would call just to make sure it doesn't 'infect' your currently correct MBs. :upsidedow

Has anyone been able to resolve the "guest already registered" problem with be our guest fast pass? I still haven't been Able to make lunch redervations.

Nope. Still keep trying here. : ( . I keep seeing the Fast Pass+ button pop up on the BoG page of dining reservations on the Disney website though. It unfortunately just took me to my FP+ selection options. Im hoping that means they are working on a getting that up and running soon. I did talk to a cm today hoping that maybe since it was showing on my screen they could do something. Nope. She did say that Disney plans to make about 75% of all their lunch reservations available for FP+. I'm still hoping to get it before my trip...
