the next round of FD dates will come out?

Disney keeps surprising everyone by releasing deals before the expected release date.

Think it will be this month? Next month? The suspense is driving me batty!

I wouldn't expect any more free dining dates to come out for quite a while..... Certainly not until 2012 sometime.

For this year--- For early 2011 free dining, they announced it in August 2010. The next free dining announcement didn't come until May 2011, when they announced the September free dining.

Free dining is not usually available from April-early August.

So I wouldn't expect to hear anything more about free dining until April/May/June 2012.

Then in May of this year they extended the FDing offer once again for dates of 8/28/11-9/24/11 and 10/2/11-12/17/11. So it "could" be possible for the US to see an extended version of the offer later this month.

I am sure FD will be released as it has in the past, it's just a matter of when. You can always book and apply any discounts to your package if and when they come out with one.

That's what I said. And the Aug 16, 2010 = the Aug 3, 2011 announcement. Simply with fewer dates, as they are increasingly limiting discounts.
They have never announced free dining twice in the same month. The closest was last year, when they announced 2010 dates in early July, and 2012 dates in mid August. (6 weeks apart) This year, it seems they combined those 2 announcements, into one big Aug 3rd announcement.

Current room discounts expire this weekend. So we could see a new round of discounts next week.

I am sure FD will be released as it has in the past, it's just a matter of when. You can always book and apply any discounts to your package if and when they come out with one.

This is what I don't get they always tell you to book now and any discount can be applied later but in reality doesn't the fact remain you have to find an available room THEN get the said discount? I'm getting to the point where if I don't get a pin or discount and soon I'm going to spend more money and go balls to the wall on something I REALLY want like AK I'm never going again and its our first visit....... Do we have the money for that? No but I can't take it with me when I'm gone !!!!!
