Arriving on August 30 staying through Sept 5. Any thoughts on crowds...I know these days include Labor Day weekend, so I am wondering if that Friday and Sat (Sept 4 and 5) will be horrid. (thinking of doing PV for Fastasmic on Sat Sept 5 ) We were there last year leaving the Sunday of Labor Day weekend and the crowds that Saturday were not too bad at all. I am most concerned about the weekdays prior to Labor Day this year. Seems most schools will be in. We will schedule all our character dining during the weekdays and go between both parks. We have a 7 month old and a 3 year old so we want time to nap, use pools, see shows multiple times etc.

Also any clue on park hours?

Also can anyone confirm that the Electrical Parade goes dark as of Aug 24 for the year?

Thanks in advance

Besides being Labor Day weekend, it is also the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon weekend. There are events Saturday and Sunday. I really don't know how that will affect the crowds, but I thought I'd let you know.

I don't think the week will be bad at all and should actually be quite nice. I would expect typical lower September crowds Aug 31st-morning of the Sept 4th. However, by Friday afternoon, the crowds will start to grow due to Labor day weekend and the Disneyland Half Marathon.

We might be going that same week. :thumbsup2

Hope you have a wonderful time! :yay:

I wondered the same as we'll be there that week too for our first ever visit :)
I'm hoping the thursday before Labor day won't be too bad so we can get quite a bit done.

Hope you have a great trip :)
