Any great spots to view Wishes other than in MK?

Anyone know if there are other places to go see Wishes or do you have to be in MK? My mom and my aunt are coming in and I want them to be able to see Wishes. They will be going to the parks on one day and then leaving the parks to go do wedding things later in the afternoon. So I want them to be able to see Wishes. Should they just go back to MK? Or can they go to the Contemporary or Grand Floridian? Time will be TIGHT that day - especially that night (day before the wedding), but I want them to get the full effect of Wishes.

wishes can be viewed from the contemporary, the GF, or from the beach at the poly. all good vantage points.

So you can go watch at these places - Contemporary, GF, or the Poly even if you're not a guest there??? Which place is better??

Just returned on the 12th from a great trip. We had dinner at Ohana's and were able to see the fireworks from our table. They piped in the music and dimmed the lights for the show!! It was GREAT!!

that's correct. no need to be a guest of the hotel. Saying that, I'm assuming you are a disney resort guest, although, I don't know if that's even a requirement.

We watched wishes three times from the beach at the Poly. You really get a good perspective of the fireworks.

There is a speaker near the outdoor bar at the poly.

No it is not. My family and I go several times a year just to watch the fireworks from one of the resorts even though we have seasonal passes. We go to eat and shop then watch the fireworks and the Water Parade.

The beach at the Poly is good along with the 4th floor observation deck at the Contemporary. It is through the door near the liquor store. You can also see it from any stairwell at the Contemporary that faces the MK.

Thanks! I might try to get everyone together to go see it at the Contemporary. It would save time too to not have to go into the park.
