Any good PS3 deals?

Considering a PS3 for DH since it is also a blu-ray player and is capable of Netflix streaming. Has anyone seen any good deals?

Most likely then not, you will not find sales on the PS3. Sony sets the price and retail locations don't have any wiggle room on it. Especially since they JUST lowered the price on it to the current $299. This price decrease was a huge deal within the industry as it finally brings it in line with the other systems.

During the holidays they will often do a bundle offer though. This is where you get the game system along with something with it for the price of the system. Usually this is something like extra controllers or specific games. As of right now, I am not seeing any bundles but it is possible they will hit shelves around Black Friday and later.

DH was talking about getting one as well. We need to buy a blu-ray so I figured we might as well just buy a PS3 for him for christmas. bundles are usually the only "deals"

I've been looking around and haven't seen any deals on the PS3. We decided to buy one at Walmart this past Saturday. It was the last one they had in stock. My DH doesn't think there will be any deals this year. Really wanted to beat the Christmas rush so we decided to just bite the bullet.

We already bought one for DS also for Christmas. I think the $299.00 is the best its going to get. Didn't want to wait too long and not be able to get one.
