We are trying to get out of a cycle of eating the same meals every week.

The choice of LC cookbooks out now is overwhelming though!

Can anyone recommend a good LC cookbook with simple, easy to follow recipes? That taste good? I still want my kids to eat......

Thanks!

I've got "The Good Carb Cookbook" by Sandra Woodruff. Can't say that I've used it too much though. But it's in paperback (the larger style - maybe called "soft-back" so it wasn't too expensive.) It's based on the glycemic index - so not all the recipes are extremely low carbs - but definitely good carbs.

I bought the SBD Cookbook but haven't used it much since it's our first week and I'm in Phase 1.

I'm going to go through it pick out a few meals and shop accordingly.

We'll see how they turn out.

500 easy low carb recipes... it is my cooking bible now

I get all of my good ones online, the books are overpriced and are sometimes too complex!

Here's one I had to email for, it's from a low carber who has some great tried and true recipes: Linda's Low Carb Recipes

I also have to reccomend Dana Carpender's 500 lc recipes. I also like her 30 minute recipes. I've also been using Everyday low carb cooking by Alex Haas
