any good deals on prepaid visa, master card or american express cards?

I was planning on converting my cash from payout of survey into prepaid cards at kroger because of the fuel rewards. Luckily when we were thinking about buying them my son goes dad what does this little itty print mean? Well if you buy these cards no kroger fuel reward. So there are there any type of deal on these? Since most charge 6 bucks to activate the cards I think they need to pay me something. I know wishful thinking but what is out there? Thanks
