Looks like we're going to stay over 1 night after the cruise and fly home Sunday instead of Saturday. DS wants to go to WDW - Mission Space might be open around then and he's hoping Timekeeper and Carousel of Progress will be open.

Now I need to find a WDW hotel at a reasonable rate for 1 night. Any good deals out there?

Do you have your heart set on staying on property?

If not, consider the Holiday Inn Family Suites Resort.

I booked it for 3 nights, two before cruise and 1 after for $86.00 per night in King Kidsuite (includes breakfast - hot not continental). That is the rate for Entertainment Card. The Disney Club Card has entertainment logo on it, so I believe it qualifies.

Have stayed 3 times before and really like it. Lots of room for me, DH, DD, DS, and DM to stay.

Call Disney for specials. My sister just booked 3 nights at Port Orleans (Sat,Sun,Mon) for a total of about $240. That's about the same as the above post--and they're not on Disney property. Plus Port Orleans is one of their "moderate" hotels--their "value" ones are even cheaper! Good Luck!

Wow...with a user ID like 'starwood' are you really thinking about NOT staying at the Swan or Dolphin??? ;)

I've bid on priceline.com and received Hotel Royal Plaza for $50 per night. They have Disney transportation and are a Downtown Disney Hotel.

We stayed at Swan/Dolphin 2 years ago when we went on the cruise. (No it's not that starwood). It was nice and I can get it 1/2 price with the Disney Club. Just not sure I want to stay there again or try one of the Disney hotels we haven't stayed at yet. There are a lot of reasonable rates for off property hotels. Just have to see what DH wants to spend on it.

I've never stayed here, but I got information not long ago about a special deal going on at the DTD Mariott through Dreams Unlimited:

It sounds good because you can use Disney Transportation (according to this website), so it is almost like being on site.

NOW, if you want to walk to Epcot, we just stayed to the Beach Club (but this is not an low cost resort). We could just walk right over to Epcot to the International Gateway. It was wonderful! And a great pool. We are Disney Vacation Club members, so we stayed on points, but I understand the rooms are pricey if you pay cash.

If we weren't Disney Vacation Club members, I would check out this Mariott.
