I was so excited this am the DJ on a local radio station said he got round trip tickets from OH to FL for $78.00. I just spent an hour searching all the sites and the cheapest I find is $173.00. Has anyone else heard of these great airline deals?

I haven't seen prices that cheap in a long time. Unless your city is having a new airline come to your airport. Sometimes there are promotional fares.

Hey ceecee,
I'm here in Kettering and I haven't seen anything that cheap.I beat he meant it was one way.I work part time at a travel agency and I been checking fares for awhile there isn't anything out there that cheap.Unless someone did he a favor since he's a radio DJ.Sometime they have certain travel agency that give them deals.I'll let you know if I find anything that cheap. When are you guys going down.

I just checked AirTran from Philly to Orlando for travel next month and got $69 each way. It's a sale and I don't know when it will end, but try there.

I'm in Enon, Ohio. Close to Dayton, and Columbus. We are driving to Indianpolis to get fares under $150.00 RT. It's only a 2 hour drive, (versus 1/2-1 hour to the airports above) and we save about $165.00:bounce: :bounce:

Hope this helps.

We're going in late September thru October... I didn't think to try another airport since we have one 5 minutes away! Maybe I'll try Cincy or Columbus.

Dayton was the next cheapest from what I saw. I checked expedia, orbitz, and travelocity, with all being about the same. I usually book directly with the airline once I check prices, and that way I save the processing fee that expedia charges.

Airtran out of Dayton has been running $69-$75 each way before taxes, and fees. Very good flight times though.

Ican almost be money, that Cinci will be higher. They always are.

The AirTran fares are very, very good and are for travel through 11/5... too bad we are not going until December :o

I just got $145 round trip including tax with Jet Blue :)

Not sure where Englewood Ohio is but if you are within distance of Akron-Canton airport, you can fly for 82.00 each way on airtran. Check out their web-sale.

isn't that the truth? I live the opposite direction from CVG--in Kentucky. I cannot tell you how many people Fly out of Louisville and Lexington simply because it is that much cheaper! It is a rare occasion that Cincinnati has the lowest fare...Delta has the market cornere there.

Check ATA out of Indianapolis. I am flying the last week of September for $109. After taxes and fees, it works out to around $136 per person. This is non-stop out of Indy to Orlando. Granted, you would have a drive but if you can get a non-stop out of Indy, it may be worth it. Plus, ATA, is in the process of updating their fleets. So, good chance you may have a brand new plane for your flying.
