I am hoping that Disney will resurrect the FD for Jan/Feb/early March. Anyone hear any rumors? *fingers crossed*

If history repeats, we should hear something in early October but I want to start planning! That is half the fun!!

Wow, I didn't realize they ever did it then. I thought it was a fall promotion for the most part. Would definitely make that time of year more appealing. We loved our February trip but for various reasons decided our next trip will be at a different time of year (mostly refurbishments...), free dining could sway us back to it as long as they keep the February pricing on rooms ;)
The promotion we got this February was stay-play-dine...I'm not even quite sure *what* that is exactly but it was cheaper, definitely not free dining. I think adult dining plans with the package (hotel, tickets, meal plan) were kids pricing?

Haven't heard/read anything. That would be great! Hubby and I are considering a couples trip in March....would love the free dining. We had the free dining for our January trip a few years ago, so they do offer it different times throughout the year. Crossing fingers!

I have a conference the last week of January in Orlando so we just started our February trip planning too! We got a price quote from Small World Vacations who said when the discounts come out they can *try* to apply them but it's not guaranteed. Anyone experienced issues with discounts not being able to be applied. I want to start paying for our trip but not if I could end up saving a few hundred.

They usually have a limited number of rooms per discount, so you could potentially have to switch a room type. We usually a book standard view at POR, but if a deal comes up we may have to upgrade to a pool or water view room. Usually still end up saving money.
