Any flexibility in Neverland Club age requirement?

Is it true, as allearsnet says, that the kids' clubs don't make any age exceptions? Our daughter will be 2 and 10 months on our December trip and has been potty-trained since late May. It's no huge deal, but it would be fun to have a date night on our trip, and we didn't love the sitter we had from a Kid's Night Out on a previous trip -- don't think we're comfortable using them again.

1) I have not seen any "give" on ages.
2) You might get lucky, but do not count on it.
3) They have to have rules.

They didn't give us any for our same aged child there or BBB.

It's based on insurance and child care regulations.

I believe there is also a basis based on state regulations and age of children. I know when I worked in child care, different ages allowed for a different ratio of child:adult. For instance, 3-5 years was 8:1, 2-3 years was 6:1, 1-2 years was 4:1, and under 1 was 2:1. One time we had a child who was one month shy of 3 in our preschool room and we had to bring in an extra staffer because it dropped our ratios down.

If you just weren't happy with that sitter, let Kids' Night Out know you want someone else. If you didn't like the company, there's always Fairy Godmothers (see The Unofficial Guide, or Google) or care.com.

We used Fairy Godmothers twice, and loved them. Granted, it was years ago (1998 & 1999), but we had a great sitter.

In 2011 they did allow our almost 23 month old in with her two older sisters. I signed up at the Poly front desk. She was also potty trained. Good luck! She loved it at that age, they all did.

Anyway, thanks for the responses -- I'll give it a shot and see what they say. We probably won't try the in-room babysitting again. We just aren't terribly experienced at using babysitters who aren't relatives, and our last in-room experience didn't instill a lot of confidence in us (though it wasn't terrible or anything). Since we have had great experiences with the nursery on DCL, we are more comfortable with the Disney kids' club idea.

Ooops sorry! Yes she was almost 3, so 35 months! That was before coffee.

Not sure when your trip is but just saw the Neverland Club is going to be closed for rehab from Jan - March 2014.
