Any flaws with this FJ/Ollivander's strategy?

Assuming early entry during an only moderately busy season, what about the following strategy:

1. Ollivander's then
2. Forbidden Journey in the single-rider line then
3. Forbidden Journey in the queue-only (non-rider) line?

I understand that the regular (and non-rider) queues explain the ride, but would it be so awful to ride first via the single-rider line to beat the crowds? Is the single-rider line open during early entry? Does it take awhile to advance in the single-rider line even if no one else (yeah, I wish) is there just because of the sheer distance traversed?

A somewhat unrelated question: Are the WWoHP shops open during early entry?

Many, many thanks for your wisdom and opinions. I promise to read all responses.

Yes, do Ollivander's first. That will be the longest wait in the area. The wait area is also not covered at all. Yes, the shops and everything is open for early entry. If you want to to single rider line to beat the crowds, go for it, though the ride may not make much sense, as to why you're there and what you're doing. Yes, the singles line moves quickly, and the regular lines moves even quicker. The ride is a very technologically advanced attraction, where the ride vehicles are dispatched every 7 seconds, so there's plenty of seats for single riders to fill. If you mean "advance in the singles line" as in distance walked, it's the shortest walk to the ride out of all the lines (regular, castle tour, singles).

That is a good strategy. Single rider is open during early entry. We've done it and have beaten the people who entered the normal queue and were the first people riding that day. It is weird to get there and be the first people boarding.

Everything in WWoHP is open during early entry.
