Any Feedback On Norway ABD?

Now that it is already mid-August, I am surprised we haven't seeny any trip reports or feedback on the new Norway ABD. For anyone on these boards who has taken this trip, I would love to hear your impressions and feedback. Some photos would be great too! I know a trip report can be a big commitment, but I will take any feedback at this point. The Norway ABD is high on our list of future ABDs (especially if we like our taste of Norway on the Iceland/Norway cruise in 2015) and I am really curious to hear what folks have thought of the trip so far.

katrina1112 started posting a Trip Report, but she hasn't gotten past the first day yet:

There's also a one-post impression Report here:

I'd love to hear more about this trip, too!

Sayhello

ETA: I also did a bit of googling, and found this random trip report blog:

Thanks, Sayhello! Love the welcome pin. Sounds like a great trip. It's definitely staying on the list.

Thanks for the links, SayHello. Like Calfan, I've been waiting for some trip reports to tickle in so it was nice to see the storybook trips one. Definitely on the top of my list.

I really hope this ABD is successful. I'd love to do it in a few years. We're taking the 9 day Norway cruise next yr. However, I'm sure I'd love to return with an ABD.

Would love to see a Norway review as well...

We added a few days in Iceland before our Germany ABD a few weeks ago and loved it, so if you have any Iceland questions feel free to send them my way :) We loved it there and plan to return soon, such a great country!

We are doing the Iceland/Norway Disney cruise in 2015. We overnight in Reykjavik and also stop in Akureyri. Would love to know what sites you saw and what you did.

This trip is amazing. It is very active with wonderful surprises everyday. We took our 12 yr old granddaughter who wanted adventure and this trip was just right. The scenery is jaw dropping. We highly recommend this one!

I just saw your itinerary on the disneycruise.com page, it looks amazing! We stayed mostly in Reykjavik, but we did venture out to the Keflavik area and the golden circle as well. In Reykjavik we did an really fun 2 hour segway tour of the city, beautiful scenery and a good overview if you are only in town for a few hours. The owner Linda was our guide and she was great, took pics of us that she emailed as well. You wear a helmet with a mic on it so you can hear Linda's talking and describing everything as we went along. Sway Segway Tour is her business and they offer 3 times a day with pickup and drop off at the cruise ships as well :)

We also visited the Blue Lagoon in Keflavik, which was a real treat. Touristy, but a must do :)

All the tours in Reykjavik will pick you up and drop you off, which is great! We were limited on time (well we had time, but didnt want to spend all our time on a tour bus) so we chose the evening Golden Circle tour to see the natural sights in Iceland. Very glad we did that, they were breathtaking, but may be a little tedious for young ones...

Reykjavik is a small city so walking is an option, and a great way to spend the day if you are not into tours. Great food and people :)

Thanks so much! The Golden Circle Tour and the Blue Lagoon are definitely at the top of our list. The Segway tour sounds great if we have time.

magicdreams5, you can't post a photo directly from your desktop. You need to upload it to a photo sharing site like www.photobucket.com or www.flickr.com, and then, when editing your post, hit the icon that looks like a little yellow picture of mountains and the sun. Paste the link from the upload site into the popup you get. That should embed your photo into the post.

Glad you enjoyed your ABD!

Sayhello

We are going June next year! If no one posts a TR by then, I'll post one. :)

Very very cool. Thanks so much for sharing. This one is definitely on the must do list. I love the pin with Donald and the stave church! Hopefully visiting Norway this summer with DCL will whet our appetites for this trip in the next couple of years.

Great find, Kevin! Thanks for sharing that video. So many trips I want to take! :)

Sayhello

They also have a video on the ABD Norway page. It sure looks exciting!! Can't wait!!
