Any feedback on Keen's Rose style for park touring?

I bought a pair of Teva Tirras and I hate them. We leave in 13 days so now I'm scrambling to find something I can get locally or shipped quickly from Amazon. I know Keen's get good reviews, but I haven't seen much on this particular style. Thanks!

Didn't you post another thread today about shoes? There's nothing wrong In asking opinions on more than one shoe in a single thread.

You can also do a forum search. Just type in "shoes" and search titles only. There's a huge list.

Sorry, I'm in slight panic mode and apparently my brain isn't fully functioning - forgot about the edit feature. Don't worry, I have no further shoe questions

I really wanted to like them because my water park Keens are so comfy. But I wasn't a fan of the Rose style - the toe box had an odd fit and I always ended up with a hot spot on the side of my foot.

For what it's worth, Tirras are my go-to sandal because I can adjust them to fit my stupid narrow feet. I think that was the problem with the Rose because I could get it to fit on the ankle but the toe box was just way too wide.

Hope you can find a pair that works for your trip!

I heard the Merrell's were really good. My mom bought a pair ( I think Terran Strap II) and said they were the best shoe she has ever worn, so I thought...why not. A couple of weeks ago I bought the Terran Convertible II and I have to agree, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. Good luck on your shoe hunt!

I tried on just about every keen variety at a local store and the Rose won for me as most comfortable!

If you don't have that option, maybe find a place with a great return policy and order 2 different styles and return what you don't like... (If you're in panic mode)

for what it's worth i have worn keen whispers on the last 3 disney trips and they were really great. we stayed over a week and no foot issues with them at all. i learned about them on these boards.

I think Keens are very specific for each person. I have the Newports which are ugly as sin, but feel great all day. I tried the Whispers, and on of the straps would have killed my feet. Plus my pinky toe would pop out occasionally(not cute). I think you really have to try them on to see if they cut your foot weird in any spots.

I saw these yesterday while shopping, and I'm dying to try them before our next trip.

I'm hitting up Dicks Sporting Goods tomorrow - they have them online so I'm hoping they have them in store too. I learned my lesson after ordering the Tevas from Amazon - luckily, their customer service is awesome and is allowing me to return them even though I wore them once I explained the issue.
