While checking out at CVS yesterday I noticed they have a small netbook for $99.00 which has internet connection. I didn't get a chance to look at it closer. It does appear smaller than my dd13 eee Asus netbook, but am thinking it would be perfect for my ds11 who wants his own computer, but isn't quiet ready for an expensive one.

Not personally (I didn't buy one the couple of weeks they were advertised, and haven't encountered one since) but I did ask a CVS employee. His only knowledge is that none have been returned yet - a good sign, or one that everybody put them away for Christmas.

I bought one at CVS and returned after a week. The Windows Ce operating system that it has is not very user friendly. All I wanted it for was email, Facebook and a little surfing. Even for those limited uses it didn't work well. You can't scroll with the touchpad and the right and left buttons (like mouse buttons) are very "clicky" and feel like they would break easily.

I have decided to wait for the holiday sales and get a netbook in the $250-300 range.

Also when you visit a website with the CVS unit, you are viewing the mobile website most of the time which looks very different from what you see on a desktop or laptop.
