Any experience with Chef Mickey's and Dairy Allergy?

Hello! I have a kiddo with a dairy allergy. He loves the Topolino's breakfast experience (his own basket of goodies etc). We'll definitely be heading there for a repeat on that experience. My older guy really wants to go back to Chef Mickey's, we haven't been since the shut down. The menu for breakfast looks very limited for dairy allergy folks. Lunch/dinner looks like there are a few more options. Anyone have recent experience with Chef Mickey's and dairy allergies? I'm open to breakfast or lunch/dinner. Thanks!

Last time I went (Aug 2021), they were still having a la carte. If that is still the case, and not buffet, you can tell the waitstaff about the allergy and they will work with you.

Yeah, I checked that link ahead too--that's actually one of the reasons why I thought hmmm...that doesn't look too dairy allergy friendly. The scrambled eggs aren't even listed as dairy free. I assume they could make scrambled eggs dairy free, but obviously I can't be certain of that.

My DD is dairy-free and we have eaten at Chef Mickey's many times. The Chef came out and told her what she could eat on the buffet and made her some gluten and dairy free waffles. My DD likes breakfast meat so she ate bacon etc and loved the waffles. In our experience Disney really handles allergies well. Just make sure to note it on the reservation!
