Any experience w/ ABC Warehouse?

ABC Warehouse has the best prices on my two favorite washer choices, the Frigidaire AFfinity 7000 and the Whirlpool Duet. They beat Lowe's by $170 on the Frigidaire, which is probably the one I will choose. Delivery costs are comparable although ABC does not have the delivery rebate or the 2 for 1 rebate on pedestals.
Does anyone here have experience with buying anything major at ABC Warehouse? How is the service after the sale and/or the delivery process? I have heard good things about Lowe's service and am wondering if I should just go there anyhow.

We bought our big screen TV and a washer there about a year ago. No problems at all. They even waived the delivery fee on the washer since we bought two things and took away the old washer. We shopped around for the washer and they had the best prices by far. The TV was an impulse buy. It was the floor model and such a great deal DH couldn't pass it up . Both items were delivered 2 days later.
I would tell them about the rebates from Lowes and see if they can match it or offer something comparable.

I haven't been back to ours locally since I went in to buy something and all the employees (all males) were gathered around the tv's watching football and discussing the game and were much too busy with that to wait on customers. I was looking for a dvd player--they were all in a locked case with no one around. When I went to the tv area (where all the employees were) and asked for help, a guy very nastily told me, "You just go back there and wait by the case and when that guy is done, he'll help you." "That guy" was sitting on a couch talking on his cell phone. I'd already been waiting for his assistance and it was obviously a personal phone call.

I figured if they were that unhelpful BEFORE the sale, I didn't want to buy anything there.

Thanks! Just bumping for people who aren't up all night researching washing machines. I swear, I wish I was a person who could just walk into a store, point and say "I want that one". Now this morning I'm between the Frigidaire still, but the duet sport 8500 instead of the duet or the sport 8300. Off to Lowes to check it out AGAIN. These poor salesguys. But if you have experience with ABC (or Lowes ) and appliances let me know.

I have experience with both those places...

Back in Michigan we bought a refrigerator and a freezer from ABC. My experience there was kind of like NMAmy's - a bunch of guys hanging around - not really wanting to work. But, my Mom worked at the store next to them and they were offering a discount. I remember we waited like a week for delivery even tho we wanted it sooner. No problems with the appliances so far....they even made the move to Florida with us. I don't think I would shop there again tho unless they had a *really* good deal on something. (Not that there are any in Florida that I know of!)

When we moved to Florida 2 years ago - we bought our Bosch FL W/D set at Lowe's. I had really wanted that particular set for the quality - Lowe's had big discounts too - Save $150 when you bought the set, Free Delivery, and I had a 10% off New Mover Discount. The guys that helped in store were really nice, and so were the delivery guys. The set was delivered 2 days later and no problems!
