Any experience/opinion on Dark Cloud 2 for PS2?

The game Dark Cloud 2 was recommended to us for DS, age 22. (B'day gift) I checked out a couple of reviews on-line, but . . . either the site wouldn't load or the review wasn't that great. The clerks at EB Games thought it was great & that he'd expecially like it since he likes Kingdom Hearts.

Sooooo, does anyone here have it? What do you think? What about the rating? Why is it T instead of E? (His sister is 11 & would probably want to play also.)

I'm 24 and have Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2. They are both great games. Its a role playing adventure. There are dungeon (fighting) levels along with character interaction in towns and rebuilding towns like the first game. If you are unsure if he would like it and don't want to spend $40 see if you can find a used game store with Dark Cloud - I got mine for $14. If he likes that one he should like the new one and if he doesn't you've only spent $14 instead of $40. I'm not sure why it is rated T except maybe the animation accentuates certain parts of the women and there is violence and dark/evil characters. I loved Kingdom Hearts too.

Well, I finally got hold of one of his buddies who has Dark Cloud. He, too, thought that DS would enjoy DC2 - and the friend will enjoy it with him. We took the chance & got it for DS's B'day.
