Any Epic benefit staying at a traditional deluxe?

We’re booked for a couple of nights at Portofino in October and seems there isn’t really a way to buy a 3 day pass that doesn’t force one of those days to be Epic. Part of the reason to stay at Portofino is to have EP but I think this is just a benefit we will lose on this day if we end up going to Epic. Is that correct? Just wanted to be sure I wasn’t overlooking some extension of EP to cover Epic or if Epic specific EPs might come with a discount if staying at one of the deluxes.

No hotel EP benefit of any kind for Epic, but you do get early entry.

Thanks. Feels like a huge devaluation of the perk to me (just based on how they’ve chosen to force Epic into the ticket packaging) but it is what it is. I’ll just accept it as a sign we’re going to be doing Epic after all.

Check a 2 park seasonal annual pass. Possible hotel, meal and merchandise discounts might offset the difference in price vs 2 day pass

I just got back from portofino. We were going for epic though. I ended up buying a power pass for me, came to about 500. It was cheaper to buy myself the power pass and purchase a separate day for epic (got rest of the party regular tickets) because of the hotel discounts. The power pass only has discounts for hotels, not food or merchandise. Depending on your party size and room discount it might come close or be cheaper. We ended up booking a club level room for about 70 more a day. We are a party of 4 so it was well worth it. We had breakfast yhere everday and dinners most nights. I would check to see the discount and price out the different configurations of tickets. The power pass is park to park. I didn't do the season pass which was cheaper because July was blocked out but October isn't.
