We are from the States and have an adult autistic son who likes to have the TV on when he's hanging out in the room. He does not like using an Ipad for this purpose. Ideally he likes Nickolodeon or Disney channel. When looking at site for DLP it said "international TV channels". On another site, comments mentioned that this isn't really true. Unfortunately this would be a deal breaker for us. We are not planning on this trip until fall of 2026 and currently considering Newport Bay or Sequoia. thank you!

There's not very many channels in English, but there are a few. There is definitely a Disney Channel (it was where I first discovered the joys of Phineas and Ferb!) plus a Resort Information channel, then after that it's pretty much a few news channels (BBC World and CNN from memory, but I could be wrong there) and that's about it. Majority of the rest of the channels are in French, with one or two in German, Italian and Arabic.

However if you've got a phone or tablet with shows your son likes already downloaded (e.g. to stop you from having to use too much data abroad) then I believe you can cast them to the screen pretty easily - haven't done that myself but certainly saw that as an option on one of the TV's menus.

Hope I'm not too late responding to this one, but basically no, the only English channels we've found in the past few years have been the safety/resort info channel and the news channels. If you're staying at Hotel New York (or probably Disneyland Hotel too) you can link your device to the tv to stream your own Netflix, Youtube, etc.

You may be able to stream to tvs in the other resorts if you use android but it didn't appear to work from iPhone.

No you’re not too late 😊 thx for your response. One more question … do the on site hotels have Disney channel in French? He may actually be ok with that. Thx!
