Any end of August room only discounts yet?

Seems like I'm in the same boat! I planned a quick trip for the end of August because I was SO sure I could get a room only discount!! My budget for my 2 week trip in January will be in jeopardy if I have to pay full price in August!!!

Where, oh where, are the room-only discounts?!?!?

My feelings are that Disney is not going to offer any codes for discounted rooms for the next couple of months because of the Fairytale package. I think the next batch of codes will be for after November 20th, when the fairytale package travel dates expire. However, I could be wrong, it is just my thoughts.

I'm waiting for Oct 1 to 6, hopefully for an AP rate (Oct 1 is the last day of value season). I've checked almost any resort on the WDW reservation system and they have rooms available. I think it will be a wait though. I was waiting for AP rates for May and they didn't come out until the end of April. The rate for May at OKW was about 30% off, not as good as previous years when they were around 40%. I don't have a reservation yet or plane tickets, so if discounts don't come out, we probably will not go.
