Ive been running the numbers and saw that if I book through expedia using ebates it will be $433 cheaper than booking on wdw.com, after the $379 rebate. plus, that also includes a park hopper on expedia vs the base ticket at wdw.com (I wont pay for ph but if we have it we will use it), so its actually more savings. my question is, are there any ebats restrictions when booking with expedia? Id also book with orbitz (or anywhere!) for better rates. Im not ready to book yet, but I want to make sure I know what all my options are, and that Ive taken all exclusions into consideration

The only "restriction" that I can think of offhand, would be that you cannot use a promo code when you make a purchase thru Ebates, unless that promo code is provided on the Ebates website. Otherwise, it can void your rebate.

Another thing to keep in mind is that when you book thru Orbitz or Expedia (or any other travel website), you are not getting a Walt Disney Travel Company package. So, you won't get the goodies that Disney sends to guests in their Mickey Mail. No arcade vouchers. No cute luggage tags. No free miniature golf or food at Planet Hollywood. You also have to go thru Expedia/Orbitz for any changes you want to make, whether it's to add another day, bring another person or to move your vacation to another time. You are subject to their cancellation policy which may be more restrictive than the WDTC.

As long as you're okay with those things, then definitely go with the reservation that saves you the most money.
