We'll be back 2/29 to 3/9 at OKW - 2 Bedroom. Missed our usual Holiday Trip in 2003 - No Osborn Lights.

CBR 3/20/04, 2 nights, than AKL with our DVC points .
2nd year in a row (3 out of last 5) We'll be in WDW for my birthday (3/22) & my wifes (3/18)

We are bringing our family for the first time (as a DVC'r)--2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids, and the babysitter. We'll be at BCV-2 BR from March21-26.
Are there any get-togethers planned during that time?

Last minute change in plans. As I noted before, we coordinate our DVC trip w/ DSs school vacation. In the second wk. of vacation, oldest DS stays in FL to join his HS BB team for spring training. Coordinating our trip w/ the HS trip has become a bigger planning "challenge" than the whole WDW trip itself. Well, the coach called a meeting & announced that he "cannot" allow students to fly down separately, i.e. either you fly up & down with the team, or you can't go. Luckily, I was waiting for his final word on airlines to purchase our tkts., but I clearly had to change our DVC ressie. I've chopped off March 20 to 22, because we have to fly home on 20th so DS can fly down again on the 21st w/ DC (Dear Coach). I tried to add March 13th & 14th at OKW to the front of our stay, but surprisingly, there were availability problems. We are in a 2BD lock-off for the 15th to the 20th & no lockoff was available for Sun., 3/14, only a dedicated 2 BD. They couldn't switch us into a dedicated 2 BD for our whole stay. I wanted to stay in a studio on 3/13 because we planned on flying in very late & I refuse to pay those HIGH point. But no studio was available for both the 13th & 14th. So we are staying in a studio at VWL for the first time & moving to our lock-off 2 BD at OKW on the 15th.
Initially, I was bummed, but looking at the bright side, DVC was able to accomodate a significant change in Jan. for a March trip. Also, we can now say that we've stayed at all DVC resorts, until SSR opens. We'll eat at Artist Point while we're at VWL. I've grown to like this idea so much, that I may take our name off the waitlist for a studio at OKW.

I have done this the past 3 trips too, and never spot any either! I do get lots of questions from cast members about it though!
