We are going for our 2nd ever trip in July. Our very first trip to Disney way back when....was in late July for 5 nights at Dixie Landings ( name then) and we went this past Aug. for our first ever Aug. summer trip. This year we are slated to go to St. Petersburg for 4 nights starting July 22nd followed by 6 nights at BCV. We have never stayed at BCV. We have only stayed at SSR and BWV. Just curious on how the crowds will be then. We didn't think Aug. was that bad...but we also arrived mid Aug. so people were probably wrapping up their summer trips. Thanks.

We were there this past August! I think we arrived on the 15th! We will be going July 29th this year. We always go either end of July or mid-August. That is about the only time we can go, because we usually stay in Florida for 2-3 weeks and our son can't miss school. I also can't go earlier in the summer due to my job. We buy AP's so we can get 2 trips out of them.

We stayed at SSR and BCV this last time. Stormalong Bay Pool is really great! (Really crowded, but FUN!) Our room was really nice, but the view wasn't the greatest. (Was supposed to be an Epcot View, but was really a Woods view) We were right over the smoking lounge and the balconies don't have any privacy what so ever, but the hotel atmosphere is really wonderful!
Beaches and Cream is a great place for ice cream, but plan on waiting to get in.

We felt the crowds were pretty moderate this past summer. I'm hoping they won't be too bad this time.

We'll be there July 1-8 so we can use our AP's we bought last July. Going to do some parks when we feel like it and are going to the night race at Daytona. Also want to get to the Space Center this time. Can't ever get there except for late June/July. Just need to know how to deal with it!

We will be there July 11- 19th at the BCV and AKLV!! We go every July except our plan is different. We hang out at the pool durring the day and head over to the parks about 3ish. being at the parks from 12 to 3 is just too hot!!

Do you get to ride stuff when you arrive around 3:00??

We just had to reaarange our plans today and I haven't changed my ticker yet----but we are there for 19 nights in July! Can't wait! 11 nights AKV and 8 at OKW...It is hot but just pace yourself and do EMH and swim during the day...it is great

WOW I want to go for that long at each resort. THAT IS AWESOME. I think I need more points now.

We are at AKV from July 3-13th. We may come on the 2nd if I can get a 1BR and airfare. I can't wait. I know it is going to be hot and crowded, but I can't wait to see the fireworks. What time do you think we have to get in
before they close the parks?? Can't imagine being there all day.
Was hoping to go late afternoon,but I am afraid the parks will be closed.

We are actually going to hit the Kennedy Space Center this time too! My husband has been wanting to go for the last several years, but we never seem to get there. This time I booked a couple of nights at VB, so we are going for sure!

Yep, have a conference in Costa Mesa in July, so of course we had to go a few days before for a 4-night stay at DLH in California!

We will be at Saratoga Springs June 30th through July 6th. I'm probably nuts, but I enjoy the hot weather. It just feels more like "vacation" than when we go in December!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had in Aug. last year. I know we love our Nov. and Jan. trips but there was something so nice and relaxing about that trip. It seem that time slowed for us in a way and we did a lot and had a great time. We even got more sleep than on our cooler month trips too. I could so see myself going for like 2 weeks in the summer.

I only wish the Disney Dining Plan had not changed because we always enjoyed the stress-free dining.
As non-Dvc'ers we stayed at Wilderness Lodge and at Port Orleans Riverside. We can not wait to enjoy all our membership benefits!!!!!
