I have 11 months until my next need for tickets - I am contemplating how long I will wait to get tickets in case they offer an AP or discount -Thinking 50/50 odds in the next 6 months
Yep, will need 7-day tickets for them, so that is why I was leaning to UT. We got a couple months (May trip), so I'm gonna kinda wait to see what happens over winter.Yes. So far you can still buy and extremely over-priced day ticket.
All jokes aside, UT discounts really don't start until 3+ days from what I remember. Check and make sure. Unless you're dealing with discounted tickets, it's always safer/easier to go with the source (Disney). I use UT all the time for our guests, but we're usually days into the discount period and that's why.

If you're a sams club member, you can get discounted tickets through them. Seems to be the cheapest ive found for discount pricing. Costco may have them as well.Yep, will need 7-day tickets for them, so that is why I was leaning to UT. We got a couple months (May trip), so I'm gonna kinda wait to see what happens over winter.
You can buy Disney gift cards through the Target website using your Target Red Card. Use those to buy the tickets direct through Disney. That will save you 5% which is about as good as you can do anywhere else, plus you'll be buying them direct from Disney.
My $0.02...
I looked at all my options, but buying direct on my 10 day from Boardwalk ticketing was still a better discount than my red card Disney gift cards. But depending on how many days she needs, the discounted gift cards might be a better deal. I’ve bought up several thousand from target to pay for our upcoming fort wilderness camping stay. In general the Target Disney gift card bought with the red card is a slightly better deal than Sam’s club.Yes to both memberships...never knew this though!! Thank you
We bought tickets through Boardwalk Tickets after using Touring Plans ticket calculator.
Including tax prices for 5 and 6 day hoppers were $681/$708 via WDW site, and $623/$648 via Boardwalk. Near $60 savings per ticket either way.
I also noticed adding the hopper was about $20 less than what WDW site charges for those ticket lengths.
Boardwalk Ticketing is another authorized reseller of Disney and other theme park tickets. It’s worth checking their prices as well as others when you’re ready to buy.Ok, gotta ask. What is Boardwalk Tickets? That is a new one to me
From looking at the Sam’s Club website, it doesn’t look like you have to be a member to buy Disney tickets. If you're a sams club member, you can get discounted tickets through them. Seems to be the cheapest ive found for discount pricing. Costco may have them as well.
Assuming Disney doesn't change their protocols, yes, you should be able to apply unused tickets one-to-one to the purchase of APs. If they don't change the AP system, and you're not eligible for Membership Extras, you'd be purchasing the IncrediPass. If you don't buy direct, can you still apply unused tickets to the cost of an AP if they become available?
