The Phillies played very well, and deserved to win.

The Rays AA Farm Team is the Montgomery Biscuits. We really enjoyed watching Longoria and Upton, Price and a few others come through our fair city, and go all the way to the World Series. There is always next year.

I'm not much of a baseball fan...but I watched the playoffs and WS and was so glad they FINALLY WON!!! Maybe Billy Penn on top of the Comcast building helped.

I will be in Philly on Friday for the parade! Congratulations to the PHILLIES! I have been on the playing surface for a losing team in major championship, it's no fun, the Rays desirve credit for making it this far, congratualtions to them too. It's off to VWL on Tuesday for a week, maybe some the phillies will be there.

philly schools are open- so off to work I go tomorrow! I'll probably let the kids who come to school watch it on wpvi steaming video though.

I have to admit to crying when they won. I was 17 when they won the 1st time- the 2nds been a long time coming!

I Charlie Manuel. He took a lot of abuse last year and at the beginning of this season. I'm glad to see him, and the team get a reward for their hard work!

GO PHILLIES
DS (11) and I are going to the parade tomorrow. Sending the two younger ones to school. Halloween parties are more fun than 1 million people wandering the streets. DS does not want to miss the parade. Who knows when we will do this again, hopefully soon.
We are really excitied. I went to Modells this morning and loaded up on shirts, hats, hoodies, car magnets..... WOW. Still am in shock they won.
We our philly sports teams.
Maybe I will see some DVC/disboard friends there..
