Any DS or DSi deals for Cyber Monday? Anyone know any good deals?? (I prefer just the ds without a bundle, trying to keep costs down....sister has a few games already....)

I know you said no bundles but Walmart has a bundle that is 189 for the DSi, case and 2 games. maybe you could save the games for bdays?

We picked up a reconditioned DS Lite at Gamestop for $59. That was $40 less than Wal-Mart's price for a new DS Lite on Friday.

Thanks! Reconditioned or used? I think I stopped in our Gamestop once and saw something scratched up and obviously used -- fine for oneself, but not ok as a gift. Reconditioned though, would be fine for me! What a great savings!

Is there a difference between reconditioned and used? Like a PP said, I wouldn't want to give someone a DS that is all scratched up.
And what is the return policy? What if it breaks?

7 days for returns, no questions asked. 30 days for exchanges. You can buy a one-year "warranty" (lets you swap for a used-but-working system if yours stops working) for some amount more; IMHO I'd buy new if I wanted to go that route.

I got my DD6 a brand-new DS Lite, because I had similar concerns about what you'd get. My mom got a DS Lite used from Gamestop at the same time, and has had no issues at all in the 6 months she's owned it. If I were getting for myself, I'd have no hesitation in buying another used one.

I personally would get my own kid a used toy / game / book / clothing without hesitation, and the Santa who comes to our house apparently feels the same way.

I was at gamestop, they only have black and white one, and all have scratch on them, so I did not buy any

There are 3 dsi's on ebay pink, turqouise and black. They are $115.00 shipped which is a deal. Not sure if it is legitamate, but so far the listings have not been flagged and they have sold a bunch.
