Any DIY interior DISigners out there?

Hubby and I live in a small one bedroom apartment and We are looking to decorate our bedroom. As a huge fan of all things Disney - I have plenty of treasures I could display. What I was looking for was a regal room (on a paupers budget). I love the color schemes of Cinderellas' and Sleeping Beauty castles.

Grey or silvers as the main color - does anyone have any ideas?

I will suggest that you choose your lampshades wisely. They are not only decorative accents but actually make a big difference in the quality of light you get out of your lamp. Lighter lampshades can be used for more light in the rooms whereas darker shades will make the light more localized.
