Any Disney Visa Cardholders at DLR after New Year?

When we were there in Oct., the people at the stroller rental were saying that they weren't sure that Disney Visa was going to provide free stroller rental this year. Does anyone know if they are or not? Are they still doing the meet-and-greet in DCA? And more importantly, is there still the 10% off purchases over $50. The Disney site hasn't changed on these things, but the site has been behind on other items. Thanks for any answers.

I just received my Disney Visa, and will be using it next week at DLR to get my free stroller rental, so I hope this perk still exists. It was one of the main reasons why I applied for it! I will post if I have any trouble getting my stroller.

I am interested in learning more about this as well. Canyon girl a CM told you this? Yikes, that is crazy. There are soo many people that take advantage of this great perk. We have yet to try it, but we might on our next trip.

Tracer, it was kind of off the cuff. We said how nice of a perk it was, and she (at DL stroller rental) said that she didn't know if they would do it again. She said that they usually knew by that time of year, but she had not heard anything yet. She said her impression was that they would not continue it in 2009. I am hoping she is wrong. That is why I am asking to see if someone has tried it in 2009 yet.

We just got back and rented free strollers seven days straight with our DV and never had any problem or heard any mention of the perk discontinuing.

I just logged into my DV rewards/benefits website. It still says you get the free stroller rental. HTH

Has anyone done the DV Meet N Greet lately?? We love doing that and are so looking forward to it this year, it really gives the kids a chance to spend a little extra time with the characters.

No answers for you but I do have a question- where is the 10% off purchases over $50 good at DL? There is a discount at the World of Disney store in DTD at WDW but the discount isn't available at the parks or hotels there. Is it different at DL?

If you go to DLR website and click on the visa card icon on the left side, it somewhat spells out the perks. In DTD, it includes WOD, Marceline's, and Pin Traders. It also says "select" locations. I used the discount at WOD and (I think) the store in Toontown.

The 10% discount worked for me back in November at the Disney Emporium store on Main St. It's automatically deducted on any purchase over $50.

We didn't do the MnG last week but should be doing it this week. Last year one of the CMs there told me that they (Disney) had just renewed the MnG for the next 5 years. I believe this was in Sept. (may have been May)

Thanks for the discount info!

If both my husband and I have Disney Visas, can we both get a free stroller (2 total?) What about the double stroller, can you get one of those free? (I'd prefer 2 single ones)

Disneyland doesn't have double strollers. You can rent two strollers per day for free with your Disney Visa. If your husband's card and yours are the same account, I believe that would be considered one card. But you can still get two per day with it! :)

I was also under the impression that you could get 2 stroller rentals with one visa account, not per card. However, my friend just told me that you can get 2 strollers per card. So if DH and I both have our Disney visa's (same account) we can get a total of 4 stroller per day. Does anyone else know if this is true? Do they scan your card when you rent them?

If you each have a DV then you actually get 4 strollers! At least this is what we were told on our trip in December of 08.

Glad you chimed in! Do they scan your card or how do they know that you have already used your card for the day?

No one asked but I can tell you that you can get one free photo ticket for each DV card you show. They just glance at it. :goodvibes Doesn't matter if it's the same account or not.
