Any Dis'ers at the AKL July 5-8?

We are planning a short trip after a cruise, and I was just wondering whether I could expect to see any lime green?

WE're doing the opposite of you - 3 nights before our cruise - so we'll be there July3-6...Can't wait!

Yes - first time!

We'll overlap for a day of your trip...we've never stayed at AKl so we plan on enjoying it as much as possible. I think we'll be eating at Jiko on the 5th and try Boma for breakfast the morning we check-out to board. We've eaten at Jiko before and it's a tie with Artist Point (And California Grill) for our favorite restaurant...

We'll probably skip Jiko, and eat at the Boma buffet one night, not sure when. Do you have kids, if so what age? Are you doing the parks too. If I see you, I'll give you the scoop on our cruise. I had been thinking about Whispering Canyon for lunch, or Kona, and we want to eat at 50's Prime Time one night. Wear your ribbon!

My kids will be 5yo DD and 6yo DS.

I'm not sure which park we'll be braving it at for the 4th - We were there on NYE and didn't go to the parks in the evening (which I was glad about when it started pouring rain) but I feel like we should experience a park on the holidays - so maybe MGM on the 4th and AK and MK on the 5th. It's always a hard choice!

My kids are dd4 and ds10. Maybe we'll see you at the pool. We were at MK 4th of July 2001. The fireworks were awesome, but it was packed!!! We watched from beside the castle and Tinkerbell flew right over our heads. DD was thrilled! Sunday will be EE at MK, and we got so much more done last time we did EE there. We got there early for CRT and rode everything with hardly any lines at all. Much better than getting there in mid-morning. I was surprised. If not for our CRT ressie, I wouldn't have bothered with early entry.
