We're about to leave for our trip to WDW and for the first time ever we are checking out Discovery Cove!

Anyone with experience there have any advice/hints/tips/tricks to make our visit wonderful?

Any hidden gems to look out for?

Any good shady spots to rest?

Any and all tips are appreciated!!:)

We went to discovery cove for the first time on our last trip. Make sure you relax and enjoy the atmosphere, unlike so many other places it doesnt feel crowded. Also, make sure you check out the aviary, and dont be shy to ask to feed the birds when the attendants are out at the carts. We got some great photos in there with our own camera and the photographers there. Try to find any shady spot as this was the only day i got burned last holiday as you are in and out of the water so much the sun cream wears off quickly. Remember you cant use your normal sunscreen because of the fish and dolphins but they give you a free sample of the fish friendly stuff and its available for purchase in the parks. If you are doing the dolphin swim get there early for an early swim as the dolphins are more fresh and active. Look out for the animal meets around the park. Hope this helps and hope you have a great time =)

Thank you so much for the tips. Finding a shady spot is #1 on my list since we burn easily. And suggestions as to where we can find one?

I cant really remember the layout exactly but i remember there being hammocks under the trees and plenty of sun umbrella's about on the beach areas.
