any discounts for oct 04 mod-luxury resorts?

My husband and I have stayed on property at universal our past few trips. I was thinking about switching it up a bit at the end of our trip and staying on disney property. I see on some sites that people are getting great discounts for the month of september. I wondered if i should anticipate any public (not an annual pass holder) for october to make them a little more affordable. we have had dinner at the poly and wl and loved both of them. i just hate to pay rack rate (or less my AAA discount).

any thoughts?

There is a rumour that discounts will be released next week (Aug25/26) ... only time will tell. I have been waiting for something better than AAA too

Ooh, I hope this is true. We had our flights cancelled and now we're going a night earlier. We won't get to the hotel until around midnight, but I'd prefer to stay onsite, if the price allows. Otherwise, we'll be staying at a cheaper airport hotel that night.

We actually got a postcard w/a code today and called just to see what was available. We were offered the Poly for $209 Garden View (I think it's around $340 or so per Deb Wills' site ... just going from memory). We were interested in the Cont Tower or GF, but were told all they had available were the big $$$ suites.
