Any discounts at all for last weekend in October?

It seems as if the last weekend in October is a black hole. I've called several times to see if any of the codes are available for October 24-29 and there's absolutely nothing. I'm a Florida resident, AP holder with a Disney Visa so I was hoping one of those would get us a discount.

We currently have AKL booked for that time period and was hoping to find a discount for AKL or any other deluxe resort.

Just curious, has anyone been able to apply any of the discount codes to that weekend? I'm guessing becuase it's near Halloween that the dates may be blacked out.

We were able to apply the Disney Visa code to an existing All Star Sports Package. Ours is for the 25th - 29th. The code saved us almost 400.00. We did try to upgrade to a different resort, but the CM said the only thing available was CBR with a king bed, which is to small for the 4 of us! So we will be staying at All-Star Sports!! Hope you are able to find something!!

Yep, I got the code for POR from 10/22-10/30. I was told AKL had availability for those dates (savanna w/ bunk beds), but I didn't take it. The Disney web site still shows both are still available for those dates. I used the GP code ZQH.

We applied the Disney Visa Code to our stay 10/29 to 11/04 at the Poly. Keep trying! Maggie

I did find Florida resident rates for AKL savannah view on the website (for $290 a night) and will keep plugging away looking for other options. Kind of frustrating that when I called CRO I was told that the Florida Resident rate wasn't available at AKL.

Hi Maggi:
I believe it has to be something to do with the Oct 24-29. I have been trying to convert a package with those dates also and I can't get anything. If I look at Oct 24-30, it works. Disney doesn't know what to say other than I can't get it for oct 24-29, which makes you sense to me.

I had to changes my dates from Oct 25 to the 26th...It was the 25th that was the hang up. Much more availability from the 26th-31st. I got Yacht Club-Garden View Club level and hoping I can add on the 25th later...Wish me luck and pixie dust!!

My TA was able to get my price down by about 400 USD.
I'm staying at AS Mu from 10/25 until 11/01.

Thanks! Moving our check-in date from the 25th to the 26th did the trick. I saved @ $400 plus got a $75 dining card with the Annual Pass room only rate. Good luck in adding the 25th back on to your stay at the Yacht Club.
