Any disadvantages using AAA to book room only?

I'd like to book room only with a AAA discount. Are there any disadvantages, i.e. cancellation policy, deposit amt., do I get the free Disney transportation from airport, etc.?
We're planning on going after Thanksgiving. AAA doesn't have Nov. arrival dates available on their website. I'm a new AAA member as of last year, so I'm not all that familiar with their policies.
Can I get a AAA discount on a room only reservation through Disney if I call them? Can I book it on Disney website?

I haven't found a way to book the AAA discount thru disney's website but you can call their reservation number yourself and do it, or go thru an online TA like DU that can get the discount for you. The quote I got seemed to have the same deposit/cancelation/trans as any other room only booking.

I'm planning to book thru DU with the AAA discount and hoping for a code when the dates get closer so they can apply it to the reservation.

I just called the 1-407-wdisney number and asked for room only, and the AAA discount rate. That saved maybe 20% off the regular rate. Same one night deposit and balance at check in, same rooms, same confirmations from Disney, same helpful people on the phone when you call to ask questions.

AAA doesn't do room only discounts through their offices. You'll need to call WDW reservations to get a room-only AAA discount room reserved.

We use a TA, but not AAA TA's. They don't seem to know any more than I do. I feel like the expert when talking to our AAA travel agents about Disney. We use The Magic For Less. Deb is wonderful. She made our August reservations for us using my AAA discount. When the AP discounts come out, she will make the changes, and I will get an email telling me the changes have been made with the amount I saved. She is wonderful, as are all the TAs at The Magic For Less.
