I've been checking JetBlue they have $89 to mco, $124 return flight. But just checked Delta and they can give me a return flight for $99. Should I fly down on JetBlue and return on the Delta flight? Are there any disadvantages to this that I'm not thinking of?

Thanks!!

None that I know of...we've done it many times to get the best fares.

Technically you'd be flying both ways on one-way tickets, which slightly increases your chances of being tagged for extra screening at the TSA security checkpoint. That's the only downside I can see to doing it with how you have it sketched out. If you had to use two carriers to go one direction, there are some other potential problems.

So many people now purchase one-way tickets that I'd find it hard to believe that it would put you on a TSA watch list. I believe the trigger was not only purchasing a one way ticket but also paying cash for it. So pay with a credit card.

We've done in several times without any difficulty or any extra TSA screening.

:thumbsup2 We just did this for our last trip. Nonstop SW flight to Disney, Delta flight home! It was great and we LOVED the resort airline check in.

After much researching for the best airfare, we decided on two 1-way flights. We will be flying down on USAir and coming home on JetBlue. I am glad I made those reservations because the prices have already gone up.
