Any Deals On Disney Hotels?

My husband and I just booked airfare for 12/5 - 12/12. Does anyone know of any Disney hotel special rates during that time?

Do you have annual passes? Everyone is waiting for the fall Ap rates to come out. Other then that, there are a few discounts floating around.

Occassionally Disney sends out postcards, mailers, and email with special discounts. Right now there is a general code of AZZ out. It has been out for about a week, so Im not sure how many rooms are left for that code. There are also some discounts available through AAA.

I would just call 407-W-DISNEY and ask.

Where were you planning on staying? Another good resource is www.disneyworld.com. You can browse all the hotels. There are Value Resorts, Moderate, and Deluxe Resorts.

It depends on how much you are willing to pay and going from there.

Dear Jen,
Thanks for the reply. Our favorite hotel is Wilderness Lodge, but we have also stayed at Caribbean Beach, Beach Club , The Dolphin, and enjoyed those hotels as well. I know that it is considered value rate season, but I just thought maybe my fellow posters knew of more discounted rates. As usual they didn't fail me. Thanks, I'll try that code.

I booked our stay at Pop Century for November for $61.60 /night through AAA online.

I'll keep looking though - I'm hoping to get it down to $49/night!

I might be wrong, but I think that code only goes through the end of Sept.

Yes, code AZZ only goes through 09/29/04. While it doesn't help you for December, I think the discount is about average for "general public" room-only discounts. I got a WL woods view room for about $147 per night, including tax. This came to about 40% off the rack rate.

You should check the discount section of DISboards (http://www.wdwinfo.com/discounts/discounts-current.htm) as well as mousesavers.com for a variety of money saving ideas.

Many people have successfully applied room-only codes to existing reservations so you can book now with whatever discount you can get (i.e. AAA) and call CRO or WDTC once the room-only codes come out. I checked this site and the mousesaver.com website daily to watch for a code. I was able to apply code AZZ without a problem but some people who called a few days later weren't so lucky.

Question on the codes...if we have package booked for the first week of December, can we apply the room-only codes once they come out?

I understand it would only be on the room portion but will CR do this?

I believe you can,

I have a DM-silver package booked for dec 6-11 and was able to apply the email code to it. Was able to upgade from POP to AKL.
