Any Deals for One Night Only??? I have 5 total but not consecutive...

Here is our situation. We are staying at POR for one night (Dec. 22nd) before our cruise. After the cruise, we are staying four more nights from Dec. 30-Jan. 2nd. I know that my last four nights are not part of the dates listed with the new codes. I called to ask about the first night and was told I had to stay at least two consecutive nights to qualify. Should I keep calling or does this sound correct???

That sounds correct. It is the busiest week of the year. I'd snag something soon. We traveled that time last year and it was hard finding something at a decent rate during the NY weekend.
