Once a young fella named Koch
Suddenly said "Gollygosh!
Perhaps an Outlander
will make me feel grander.
My friends will all think I'm so posh."

Nutsy, when is this contest deadline? We need to know how many days we have to submit hundreds of limericks (well, maybe 10) to help you win this Outlander!

Here are some more. I have no poetic license... feel free to change them anyway you can!

There was a man, Koch, a miser
Whose wife was his criticizer.
An Outlander he stole
It had "cruise control,"
He needed to stabilize her.


A man named Koch was sleepwalking
In his birthday suit, how shocking
An Outlander whizzed past,
He woke up aghast,
Wondering who did the defrocking.


An Aussie named Koch had no dough,
He dreamed he was Russell Crowe.
An Outlander ... his
He adored show biz
Awakening was a low blow.

I love all the responses, it just shows that it pays to put your ideas to others, as two heads or more are far better than one.

Well my poetic freinds, my entry is in Fingers & toes are crossed hoping ours is the winning entry.


If not, then they have another car to give away next week & the following. Som if I send out an SOS again you'll know why.

We badly need a second car & simply don't have the finances to buy one

I've been too depressed about it to let my poetic friends know.

The limerick that did win was pathetic, even my boys thought so

There will be another car on offer this week, so depending on what you have to do to win it, I may or may not enter.

If it's Limericks again, I may call on my poetic friends for some assistance again. Made a big difference last time, I'd reached a stalemate, but you guys brought it to life.
