Any current incentives to buy into Saratoga Springs

We are already DVC owners, but my husband's boss is curious about DVC.

Does anyone know if there are any incentives being offered now for buying into Saratoga Springs for a first time DVC buyer?

We just closed. Our incentive was $1500 discount or 150 points for this year since the SSR additions would not be available until April 2005.

We chooose the $1500 since we already have a trip to Port Orleans Riverside for Halloween and the first week of Novenmber so the $ seemed best for us.

The one we had was actually a $10 discount per point that was applied to your down payment or a vacation equal to the number of points you bought. We were looking at 500 points at the time so it was actualy quite a nice discount on the down payment.

Offering us 2 annual passes for buying additional points at SSR - I wonder if phase 2 isn't selling as fast?

Although we have no real info from Disney on this, the fact that they announce a third phase of developement on "opening day" of the first building suggests that SSR is selling quite nicely, at least to new owners.
