Any cosmetologists out there?

I am starting cosmetology school on September 7. I have always loved doing hair and since I no longer have to work, I am going to give it a go. I do know there is a lot of standing on you feet and am wondering what you wear for shoes. My sisters are in the medical profession and they say Dansko are the most comfortable. Any other suggestions?

I'm a cosmetologist but the wrong person to ask. I wear shoes because they are cute not because they are good for me.
Some of the girls I work with wear sneakers.
I do find getting ones with a lot of padding in them helps.
