Can anyone tell me if you can retrieve accidently deleted files? If there is, is it expensive to do so? Does it take a long time, or is it a relatively easy task? Thanks

I think it depends on what kind of OS you have. You can do a "restore" to the date before you deleted the file and I think that would do the trick. I think if you have Windows it has to be before the Windows 2000 version.

(I'm not an expert. But someone helped me a long time ago with this trick.)

Depends on how "deleted" they are. If you just recently deleted them, you should be able to find them in your Recycle Bin.

If you have Windows, check your recycle bin. If that hasn't been emptied, the files should still be there.

I just did this today (at work!) and my boss isn't in until Monday. I was trying to remap something, and checked to make sure all programs were closed, and they were, on both computers, but somehow when I went back to her computer to open the program I was trying to remap on mine, there was no info on her computer in the program. I just stopped there. Didn't do anything else. I shut the computers down. I am absolutely SICK about this. I can't get a hold of her until Monday either! I hope we can find that info.
