Any comments?

We have been to Disney bunches of times. We usually stay in the park at one of the resorts, but this time we tried to do it a little differently(and cheaper).

We are on a roll with our savings for buying a new house. We took it upon ourselves to see how much money we could save by staying outside the park, buying discount tickets, using meal vouchers, etc. So far, the savings is over $400!!

The question I have is, we have a reservation at the Quality Inn, Maingate West. Has anyone ever stayed here? It is a no frills hotel, but at $38 per night, i couldnt resist, and for 7 days, the savings versus $77 per night is apparent.

I personally have never stayed there, however if that's what you want to do GO for it!
How long are you really in the room anyways?

That's was our train of thought also. We slept and showered in the roomss, didnt really spend any other time there. Time was spent at the parks most of the time. I'll let you know how it went.
