Any comments re La Quinta night before cruise

We are flying in the night before our cruise and are looking to stay at the La Quinta Inn.

Any comments from anyone who has stayed here?

Is it a good location in Cocoa Beach?

there are a couple...we stayed at the "airport north" I believe, and it was very nice. Clean, good breakfast.

Hello The Brechun's, If you're planning on staying there anyway, would you like a free night coupon? I received it from Southwest for qualifying for a companion pass. The coupon is transferable and I would hate for it to go to waste...Mark

Hello there.
La Quinta (which means the bill in spanish) is really not bad for the monies - it is very south of Ron Jon's surf shop but it is close to several restaurants - you aren't too far to walk such as to Publix and the beach - in fact it is accross from Ocean Landings or close - it is also about 5 miles or so from the port - I stayed there a number of years ago just to "run away" from pressure at work and found it to be very nice - it did get some damage from the hurricanes, but it appears as if it is up and running -
